CACHE - Catskill Artists and Creatives for Housing Equity
Thursday, March 26
6:00PM
Calling all CACHErs, CACHE-curious, local artists, creatives, people who want to help
neighbors, and people who want to try something cool. Come join us for hands-on projects and
neighbor-to-neighbor scheming about grassroots arts, research, media, mutual aid, and community action to build an affordable, equitable Catskill for all.
This will be an experimental workshop for collaborations, and a time to say a huge THANK YOU
and see-you-soon to our dear Adrian, who has been a core force behind CACHE and is moving away to new adventures for now.
Come celebrate what we’ve done, help us make some stuff, and co-design what we’ll do next.
Bring your art supplies, your laptop, some snacks to share, or simply your dreams and perspective. We will have materials, markers, and refreshments. Bring friends!
If you have been looking for a way to get involved to support and strengthen your community, this is the perfect time. We’d love to see you there! Zoom available here
Little Window
Wednesday, April 8th
7:00PM
International superstars and local scenery come together for a night of candid music straight from the heart. Four live acts followed by DJs — sure to inspire, as well as devastate — at the gold standard of intimate venues, 27 Cafe.
Pamela & her sons (HV)
Enveloping microtonal techno with poetic texture and harmonic tones, shifting from melodic bliss to serpentine psychedelia intertwined in shapeshifting rhythms, transporting as a headphone journey and hypnotic on a dance floor. They are co-runner of NY label Real Blue Lover Rips and a member of the expansive psychedelic techno ensemble Spiral Generator
Adum Brate (NYC)
Adum Brate is a New York based filmmaker and musician. His performance will include pushing four large buttons.
Dominic England’s Special Beverage (LDN)
Dominic England is a failed zine officer and latte tax dissident with several years of experience.
Music Lovers Anonymous (HV)
Hudson Valley native and head of Portraiture, music lovers anonymous, crafts plunderphonic environments from “fleeting inner impressions… finding beauty not in convention or polish, but in the brief resonance with something unnameable.”
Madjestic Kasual (LDN)
The world’s foremost person. Per RA: “If you’re tapped into the weirder corners of internet music, you’ve probably heard of DJ and digital archivist Madjestic Kasual. He knots together once-disparate music worlds both in his DJ sets and sprawling online archival platform.”
Jetty (NYC)
Jetty is Nathan who does the Conditioner and Audition parties, and has released music on OST, All Centre, and SoundCloud.
DJ Pitch (LDN)
DJ Pitch is, in the words of the ever-ubiquitous Resident Advisor, “a man of many hats”, but this should not be taken as a lack of direction. Through his tireless efforts as producer, TT label head, DJ, podcaster and events promoter, he has championed the ever-mutating strands of electronic music for over a decade.
Tickets required, $10-20, available HERE and at the door.
